We welcome referring physicians at Utah Imaging

PACS Archive
Utah Imaging has years of experience in providing quality off site coverage at
tertiary care facilities and numerous outpatient centers. By networking
hospitals and clinics using Novarad, our web-based PACS system, Utah Imaging
Radiologists are able to access a patient's images and provide real
time results to attending physicians.
Teleradiology services can be utilized for standard readings, sub-specialty
readings and consults in addition to 24-hour coverage of outlying community
hospital emergency rooms.
Our "in house" after-hours service (nighthawk), is in its third year of
operation. Every night we have a dedicated radiologist from the hours of
10:00pm until 7:30am who reads emergency exams from hospitals using our
services. Within 20 minutes of receiving an exam, a typewritten preliminary
report is sent back to the attending physician. Should a study require
immediate medical attention, the attending physician is personally notified
to discuss those findings.
Utah Imaging Associates reputation is built on our ability to provide quality
readings through a reliable network and in maintaining a high level of customer
service to referring physicians, emergency rooms, technologists and hospital
administrators that we interact with.
In addition to our teleradiology services, we provide digital archiving. Our
digital arching service is ideal for any office looking for a more efficient
and cost-effective way of storing their patients' images. Within a week, Utah
Imaging's IT support staff can have all the necessary equipment and/or
connections made to begin archiving for your facility. We continue to provide
24-hour support once the service is up and running to assist you with any
questions or needs you might have.
If you are interested in contracting for after hours, teleradiology or
archiving services please contact Greig Huggins via e-mail at

or by phone at (801) 298-1300.
